Communities of practice and changes in learning and teaching

It is claimed that communities of practice are essential for spreading evidence-informed teaching and learning practices.

 

Evidence from the ELESIG meeting in support of this included:

  • The track record of ELESIG, e.g. their outputs
  • A presentation made at ALT-C 2008
  • Sharpe, R. (in preparation) - article
  • The CAMEL project and its outputs
