Using technology to support students' transitions into Higher Education

It is claimed that having pre-induction virtual communication with students improves their experiences and transition into Higher Education.

 

Evidence from the ELESIG meeting in support of this included:

• The Leicester University work on supporting student transitions through the use of podcasting (IMPALA4T)
• Work done at Newcastle, Northumbria and Bradford around the use of Web2.0 tools to support e-Portfolio work.
