Welcome 

Welcome to the wiki for the First Year Higher Education Student Experience in Wales. The group was formed from the HEA Welsh Institutional Group (WIG) and includes representatives from each of the institutions in Wales.

Publications 

The group has produced two publications which are available on the HEA's website:

• First year student experience Wales: A practice guide (2009) - a collection of case studies on initiatives from institutions in Wales focusing on communities of practice and student academic engagement / Profiad myfyrwyr blwyddyn gyntaf Cymru: Canllaw arfer (2009).
• First year student experience Wales: A practical guide (2010) - a collection of case studies on initiatives from institutions in Wales around two different themes - innovation in first year assessment and enabling employability through the first year curriculum / Profiad myfyrwyr blywddyn gyntaf Cymru: Canllaw arfer (2010).
