CETL Dissemination Information

From 2005-2010, HEFCE funded 74 Centres for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETLs). The Centres were based in institutions around the UK, and the HEFCE website states the aims of the initiative as follows:

  • to reward excellent teaching practice
  • to further invest in that practice so that CETLs' funding delivers substantial benefits to students, teachers and institutions.

This page collates information about the web presence and the outputs produced by the individual CETLs. This information has all been collected

from open access websites and their resources. We have omitted CETLs for which we haven't found a web presence, but please let us know if you're aware of any additional sites which should be included.

The description of the CETLs have been taken from either their websites or their Self-Evaluation reports. The websites are a mix of archive sites,

active sites and sites which don't explicitly state whether they or live or their anticipated longevity. A wide range of useful resources can be accessed through these sites.

Please note, for many of the CETLs listed here, there is only currently one resource included in EvidenceNet. The intention is to increase this over the next few months. The CETLs are listed by host institution in alphabetical order.
